An assistant that acts alone is not software you download. Everything below is configured by hand, for you, before the keys are handed over. That work is the difference between a gadget and a colleague.

The questions I get
Do I need to be technical?
No. You talk to it in WhatsApp, as you would to a colleague. The installation, the wiring and the tuning are my job, not yours.
Where does my data live?
On your server: your files, the conversation history and its memory go nowhere. To produce an answer it sends the strict minimum to the model you chose, through a business account whose data is not used for training. And if your work requires that nothing leave at all, the model can be installed on your side too.
What does it cost to run?
Two items, both with providers in your own name: renting the server, a few euros a month, and the model usage, which depends on how much you use it and is capped from day one. For individual use, think the order of magnitude of a software subscription, not a salary.
What if it gets something wrong?
It will, like any new hire. That is what the rules are for: anything touching a client waits for your approval, everything is logged, and it asks when in doubt. Its scope grows with trust, not ahead of it.
Can I switch it off?
Whenever you want. It is a programme on your server: switch it off and everything stops, and everything it produced stays with you, because it lives at your place.
